New Delhi Evening Tour

New Delhi is a city of contrasts and what better way to see the city than at sunset.  Watch as the city comes alive on this evening tour as we explore Khan Market, the magnificent Lodhi Gardens, India Gate, New Delhi Sikh temple and the government buildings of  the Presidential Palace and Secretariat.   Learn about Delhi’s fascinating past as our guides tell you about the different empires and religions that have shaped the city into what we know and love today!

For the perfect day in Delhi, combine this with our Old Delhi Food Tour or a Sanjay Colony Slum Tour!

Itinerary

Lodhi Gardens

Wander this spectacular 90-acre garden and discover tombs, mosques and bridges built during the 15th-century Sayyid and Lodhi periods.

President's Palace and Surrounding Buildings

See where the president lives and in the surrounding Secretariat buildings and Parliament House, where the country is run. Unfortunately you’re not allowed inside but the buildings sit at the top of a small hill and the view overlooking Rajpath (the King’s Way) and India Gate in the distance is stunning.

India Gate (war memorial)

View India’s memorial to the people who sacrificed their lives for Great Britain and India. At night, the monument is brightly lit and it stands as a glowing symbol for India.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh temple)

Learn about Sikhism and see the communal kitchen where anybody is allowed to eat for free while exploring the grounds of Delhi’s largest Sikh temple.

Connaught place

Finish the tour in the heart of New Delhi. Connaught Place has a plethora of shopping, dining and entertainment options and is a transport hub to get anywhere in the city.
