Day 1 – 2 – MUMBAI
Welcome to the cosmopolitan metropolis of Mumbai!
We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the hotel where you can relax and prepare for the exciting week ahead. Depending upon your arrival timing, we can also arrange a Colaba walking tour or Market tour. In the evening, we will have a delicious welcome dinner at one of our favorite Mumbai restaurants.
The next day, explore the best that Mumbai has to offer with a full-day sightseeing. Highlights include Colaba, Marine Drive, Dhobi Ghat and Dharavi. We will then board an overnight train to Sawai Madhopur.
RANTHAMBHORE / BUNDI
Travel by: Train/Car
After arrival at Sawai Madhopur train station, we will drive approximately 30 minutes to Ranthambore. After checking in to the hotel, we will then visit the UNESCO World Heritage Ranthambore Fort and prepare for a good night sleep.
Rise and shine! We will wake up early to go on a tiger safari in the world-famous Ranthambore National Park, the best place to see wild tigers in Rajasthan. After the tiger safari, we will have breakfast and then head to the train station for an afternoon train to Kota. From there, it is just a one-hour drive to Bundi, a charming little town with a magnificent fort and awe-inspiring stepwells. After checking in the hotel in Bundi, we will have an evening walk in the markets and also visit Sagar Kund, Rani Ji Baori and Sukh Mahal.
BUNDI / PUSHKAR
Another early morning as we get up to explore Bundi Fort. From here, we will drive approximately 3 hours to Pushkar – one of Rajasthan’s holiest towns and home to the famous Ajmer Mosque.
Day 6 – 7
PUSHKAR / JAIPUR
In the morning, we will visit Brahma Ji Temple and walk around the beautiful Pushkar Lake. Then an afternoon train from nearby Ajmer will take us to Jaipur, After checking in to the hotel, we will then visit the stunning Nahargarh Fort for sunset.
In the morning, we will go on the full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Highlights include Amer Fort, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and the Pink City Markets.
We will take a morning train to Agra. After checking into our hotel, we will visit the famed Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Metaab Baugh.
We will take a morning train to Delhi. During the afternoon, you will have free time to explore the city and in the evening, we will visit Akshardham, a stunning architectural masterpiece and one of Delhi’s largest Hindu temples.
The next morning, we will have a full-day sightseeing tour Delhi. Highlights include Qutub Minar, India Gate, and Agarsen ki Baori. After the tour, we will say goodbye over a delicious farewell dinner.
Mumbai is India’s most cosmopolitan city with gorgeous colonial architecture and a picturesque waterfront. Mumbai is also home to Dharavi, Asia’s biggest slum and an economic powerhouse.
Ranthambore is the location of one of the best places to see Bengal tigers in the wild. History buffs will love the Ranthambore Fort perched high on a hill overlooking the surrounding landscape.
This fascinating town is home to a gorgeous fort and awe-inspiring stepwells. The laidback vibe is the perfect spot for a day’s relaxation.
Pushkar is one of Rajasthan’s holiest towns. Picturesque ghats live the lake and devotees pay their respects at the many temples.
No trip to India is complete with a trip to Jaipur – the Pink City. Fairy-tale palaces and mountain-top forts bring history to life and provide a fascinating look into India’s past.
The Taj Mahal was built as a symbol of love and it is no surprise that the monument is one of the world’s most beloved buildings today. The ornate marble facade is spellbinding and the surrounding gardens provide picture-perfect opportunities for your holiday photos.
The capital and largest city of India, Delhi is a city with an intriguing past. From the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb to the peaceful Lodhi Gardens, history surrounds you. Old Delhi is a hive of activity and not to be missed!

This depends on where you are flying from! However, most international flights go to Mumbai.
We stay in well-appointed mid range hotels, locally owned where possible. All hotels have hot water and most have Wi-Fi. Single passengers will share a twin room with another group member of the same gender if required. You are welcome to pay extra to ensure you have a room to yourself throughout the trip – please get in touch for costs. Upgrades to 4* accommodation are available at an additional cost.
The tour includes some meals including breakfast in the majority of our overnight hotels, a welcome and a farewell dinner.
The package includes several activities and entry fees. We also have additional suggestions for activities that aren’t included in the tour price. Please see the itinerary tab to see the included and optional activities.
A deposit payment of 20% is required. Full payment is then due by at least 60 days before tour departure. Advanced payment is necessary to confirm the booking and can be made by paying by bank transfer or by using our online card payment system.
Yes absolutely! Our tours are minimum 2 people but for private tours we can look at providing dates that completely suit you. If you are interested in a shared tour we can often also still offer your preferred dates, guarantee the tour and invite other passengers to join.
All our tours ensure easy international and domestic flight connections before and after the tour. We can certainly arrange for flights for you as well; simply get in touch with us.
All of our nearest arrival airports offer pre-paid, safe and simple taxi options to your start hotel. So we prefer to provide detailed information on this in advance rather than charge you extra unnecessarily like some operators!
