Savor the Flavors of Delhi: A Morning Street Food Adventure
Kickstart your morning with our New Delhi Street Breakfast Tour, a delightful street food journey where you’ll sample flavors from across India. This tour takes you through hidden gems and iconic stalls, offering a taste of authentic North and South Indian breakfast favorites, along with a glimpse into the city’s vibrant culture and history.
The experience begins in Connaught Place, the heart of Delhi, where we introduce you to a hidden shop serving parathas, a breakfast staple loved by locals. From here, we take a short walk to the Hanuman Temple, devoted to the revered monkey god, where you’ll see plenty of monkeys—so stay alert! After a quick chai, we continue to a popular South Indian eatery, where you’ll indulge in idli, vada, and crispy dosas, all paired with a refreshing lassi. You’ll also discover how an Indian samosa differs from the ones you may have tasted elsewhere!
Next, we hop onto a rickshaw to explore Agrasen Ki Baoli, a mystical stepwell dating back to the 10th century, before stopping at Dhobi Ghat, where Delhi’s washermen manually scrub and dry endless white sheets for hotels across the city.
After this cultural interlude, it’s time for more food! We visit a street stall for aloo chaat, a crispy potato snack famous among celebrities, along with dalia (wheat porridge) and poha (a light, savory flattened rice dish). When in season, we also sip on bhel juice, a unique refreshing drink.
To end this flavor-packed morning, we treat you to iconic Indian sweets, including rabdi, rasmalai, halwa, rasgulla, and gulab jamun, from a vendor who has been serving these delights for decades. (Please note that available sweets may vary depending on the season.)
Combine this tour with our signature Sanjay Colony Slum Tour or our Delhi Art Tour for an unforgettable day in Delhi!

If you do have any serious allergies feel free to let us know at time of booking and do also let your guide know on tour so that certain foods may be avoided.
