Born and raised in Mumbai with roots in Raigad, Maharashtra, Umesh graduated with a B.Com in taxation from Mumbai University in 1994. With over 20 years of experience in finance, HR and accounting, he has worked with both national and international companies, including Data Matics Global Services and the United Nations International Organisations (UNIO).
Now living in Virar with his family, Umesh enjoys being part of Reality Tours & Travel, particularly because of its non-profit arm, Reality Gives, which receives 80% of the company’s post-tax profits to create positive change in local communities.
A cricket enthusiast, he has captained teams at his previous jobs and has a passion for traveling. Umesh dreams of starting an organic farming business and leading a simple, fulfilling life in the future.
