Discover some of Delhi’s rich historical and artistic enclaves!

Come join us as we explore Delhi’s culture and art scene on this street art tour. This tour will begin in Khan Market, the epitome of Delhi real estate, where contemporary Indian design meets with traditional Indian aesthetics.  Next will be a walk through the spectacular 90-acre Lodi Gardens where we will look back at 15th century design as we discover tombs, mosques and bridges built during the Sayyid and Lodhi periods. Finally, we will show your through the Lodhi Art District, home to Delhi’s street art. The art aims to represent a variety of social issues and gives a wonderful understanding of today’s India.

Combine this tour with a Sanjay Colony Slum Tour or an Old Delhi Street Food Tour to experience a day that you will never forget!

Itinerary

Khan Market

Visit one of Delhi’s poshest neighbourhood hangouts: a complex where people flock to dine at restaurants, converse in cafes, and shop the latest trends.

Lodhi Gardens

Wander through this spectacular 90 acre garden and discover tombs, mosques and bridges built during the 15th century Sayyid and Lodhi periods. We’ll explain some nuances of Mughal design and traditional art reflected in these magnificent structures.

Lodhi Colony

Lodhi Colony is the heart of street art in Delhi as well as India’s first public art district. Learn about the artists and the stories behind the murals that adorn the neighbourhood. (Your tour guide aka art expert will double up as a photographer; we know you’ll want to Instagram and strike a few poses while you’re at it!)

Wonderful way to explore the Lodhi neighbourhood starting at the Kahn market, visiting the 500 year old tombs in the peaceful Lodhi gardens before strolling past the massive wall paintings in the Lodhi colony. The paintings started in 2016 and international artists have been adding to them each year. Many of the art deal with current social issues. A fascinating new addition to the Delhi cultural scene. Our guide Chitti grew up in the area and is an aspiring artist. He added a very personal touch to the tour. The tour operator is a charity that helps youth in the city. Wear good walking shoes and be prepared for a couple of tuk tuk rides.

Recommended by LP I have choosen this great company for a Dehli Street Art tour. Not a regular tour but very good prepared and very nice organization (transport, guide, information, add. spots). My fifth tour in India with them, always a pleasure.
