Holi is one of India’s largest and most popular Hindu holidays. Spend some time with Reality Tours learning about life in Sanjay and celebrating this colourful holiday safely and authentically with the community. Sanjay Colony is a small slum built on 25 acres of land located in the south of Delhi near the Bahai Lotus Temple and Iskcon temple. Spend 2 hours walking around and learning about working and residential life and witness how despite the challenging living conditions it remains an area charged with positive energy and strong community.

Towards the end of the tour, we will walk to the park to play Holi! You will be joined by our friends and partners from the community, including children and staff from the Reality Group.
Safety: While Holi can be a rowdy festival, we are taking every precaution to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. Safety is our number one priority. We also use all-natural powders.
Many Sanjay Colony families work in the clothing industry. See how materials are painstakingly separated to be recycled and then observe the many factories making the finished items.
Visit a small Hindu temple where you will learn about the importance of religion in the residents’ lives.
Learn about the realities of residential life as you wander the narrow lanes with your guide.
In addition to getting an overview of the maze-like tour route, you will get a stunning view of Sanjay Colony!
After the tour, join our friends and partners from the community for a fun and colour filled Holi party.
Sanjay Colony is located close to Harkesh Nagar Okhla Metro Station. You can either meet us there or at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station (Connaught Place) and the tour guide will travel with you to Sanjay Colony by metro
